Longtime Nettwerk artist manager Tom Gates has been named SVP, A&R and Strategy at the music company.
Gates has been with Nettwerk for 15 years, working with artists including Brand New, The Format and fun.
During that time he went on to co-manage Christina Perri, MILCK, Good Old War and Mike Posner, whose ‘I Took a Pill in Ibiza’ has over a billion streams on Spotify.
Gates previously served as Arista Records’ Director of Alternative, Rock and AAA Promotion.
While there, he worked with Nettwerk artists Sarah McLachlan and Dido, as well as Arista signings like Annie Lennox and Patti Smith.
