Free platform Nokia MixRadio has launched in China – making it the first major streaming service to do so.
The digital service has now licensed 30 million tracks for its online radio offering, and launched last night in China at the MOMA art space in Bejing.
Popular Asian musician Khalil Fong performed exclusive new material to 200 of his most devoted fans. MixRadio has worked with Fong to and local musicians Tia Ray and DJ Wordy to curate playlists of the best Chinese music for the regaion.
