Germany-based hard rock label Nuclear Blast has launched a new imprint, Arising Empire.
The firm said that the label would be a ‘musical home to young, dynamic and hot bands from genres such as metalcore, punk and rock outside the “established” metal world’.
It added: “As musical genres are constantly evolving, a company continuously has to renew with it, in order to stay young, fresh and on top of things.”
The first four bands signed to Arising Empire are Novelists (FR – pictured), Imminence (SWE), Amore (US) and GWLT (GER).

“We at AE / NB are all very excited about our new venture and are looking forward to the many endeavors that lie ahead for us,” said Markus Staiger (owner of Nuclear Blast) and Tobbe Falarz (former label manager of People Like You Records) in a joint statement.
The first Arising Empire release appears on 06/11/2015; it’s NOVELISTS album, Souvenirs.
One of Nuclear Blast’s rivals, Century Media, was recently acquired by Sony Music.
