Ollie Hodge has been appointed Director of A&R at Universal-owned Polydor Records, effective immediately.
Hodge joins the UK label from Columbia Records where he was Senior A&R Manager.
He has played a key role in signing, developing and breaking a number of acts over the last decade, including George Ezra, The Vaccines, The Civil Wars, Madeon, Passion Pit, MGMT, The Gossip and Glasvegas.
During his 12 year tenure at Columbia Records, Hodge also spent a year working with Rick Rubin in New York.
His career began as a talent scout at Warner Chappell Publishing where he quickly progressed to a role at V2 Records, before joining Columbia Records in 2006.
