Ultra International Music Publishing has announced a new collaboration with Los Angeles-based producer Diamond Pistols, to launch a music publishing company, called Hidden Gem.
The launch of the new publishing company comes two weeks after Ultra International Music Publishing opened a new creative hub in Nigeria, marking the company’s expansion in West Africa.
Elsewhere, in January, Ultra International Music Publishing acquired the catalog of Grammy-winning producer Zaytoven.
The first signing to Hidden Gem has been announced as Jutes, described by Ultra International Music Publishing as “a frequent collaborator with Demi Lovato, Iann Dior, Illenium, Huddy, Arizona Zervas and others”.
Diamond Pistols aka Christian Dold has achieved various multi-Platinum & Gold certifications in recent years.
After securing a Billboard 200 Top 40 for his production efforts on Jackson Wang’s Mirrors, he produced Edamame by bbno$ ft. Rich Brian, which charted in the Top 50 on Spotify in 13 countries and has now accumulated more than 275 million streams on the platform.
Diamond Pistols has also produced for artists such as Blackbear, Joji, 24kGoldn, Rich Brian, Bulow, Lil Pump, Khea, DVBBS, and many more.
He recently produced and engineered DJ Snake ft. Rick Ross and Rich Brian single Run It, which was featured on the Marvel movie Shang Chi, including on the Soundtrack and global trailer.
Los Angeles-based Jutes’ recent cuts include Illenium, Iann Dior, Demi Lovato, Huddy, Arizona and Zervasa among others.
Diamond Pistols said: “I’ve been a fan of Jutes for years, and knew he was going to win the moment we got in the studio together for the first time. I’m proud to now call him a friend and partner and couldn’t ask for anyone better to start this next adventure with.
“Big shout out to my fam at Ultra Publishing for being the glue that helped make it all happen.”
“Diamond Pistols is a proven hit-maker who we support here at Ultra Music Publishing, so when he brought the opportunity to bring Jutes into the family it was a no-brainer.”
