Paul Cormack promoted to General Manager at Better Noise Music

Paul Cormack has been promoted to the role of General Manager at independent record label Better Noise Music.

Cormack previously served as Managing Director of Canada for the company.

In the last four months, in addition to covering the Canadian market, Better Noise says that Cormack stepped in to lead the campaigns for Asking Alexandria, Bad Wolves, All Good Things, and Eva Under Fire, overseeing the distribution and marketing of all projects by these artists.

Cormack’s promotion elevates his responsibilities to overseeing the overall day-to-day running of the company.

Beginning his career at Universal Music Canada handling the Canadian marketing for MCA Records, Polydor Records, The Disney Music Group, and the Strategic Marketing Division, Cormack moved into running television marketing, creative, and research departments for prominent television brands.

He also launched and ran Sparkwheel Marketing & Strategy, a boutique lifestyle and market-research agency in 2019, where he worked directly with independent artists, content producers, and YouTube brands.

New York-headquartered BNM (formerly Eleven Seven Music) was founded in 2006 by Allen Kovac, who has managed acts including The Bee Gees and Mötley Crüe.

The company bills itself as the “premier independent [rock] music label under Better Noise Entertainment, a content creation and marketing company that produces music, books, films, documentaries, TV shows, theatrical productions, and tours.”

“Having worked with Paul at Universal Music International I knew of Paul’s tremendous can-do attitude and problem-solving nature.”
