Artist and songwriter James Blake has signed an exclusive global publishing agreement for future works with Pulse Music Group.
The news was announced today by Scott Cutler and Josh Abraham, co-CEOs of Pulse Music Group and Maria Egan, President and Head of Creative, Pulse Music Group.
Blake is a GRAMMYÒ award winner (King’s Dead with Jay Rock, Kendrick Lamar, and Future) and Best New Artist nominee; a Mercury Prize winner; an Ivor Novello award winner and a 3x BRIT award nominee.
He has also collaborated with artists including Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar, Frank Ocean, Travis Scott, Bon Iver, Vince Staples, Metro Boomin, and Brian Eno, to name a few.
Blake has released four studio albums, including James Blake (2011), Overgrown (2013), The Colour in Anything (2016), and Assume Form (2019).
Blake worked with Frank Ocean as a co-writer on his album Overgrown and in turn contributed production work to Ocean’s 2016 album Blonde.
He also co-wrote and co-produced the song Forward from Beyoncé’s landmark album Lemonade (2016). Blake has also had multiple No.1 album debuts on US dance charts, with nearly 1 billion combined music streams.
