US publishing company Pulse has extended its admin deal with Music Asset Management (MAM) to manages its admin arm, Pulse Publishing Administration.
Through the deal, MAM founder Mary Jo Menella (pictured) and her team will continue overseeing Pulse’s global administration of more than 150 catalogs.
Those include joint venture partners such as Creative Nation (Luke Laird and Beth Laird’s Nashville publishing company), Rick Rubin’s American Songs, Mark Anthony’s Magnus Media and Mass Appeal.
Since its inception in 2014, Pulse Publishing Administration’s gross worldwide collections have doubled in growth year-over-year.
In 2017, the firm reported a record 205% increase in gross revenues over 2016.
MAM has been instrumental in the company’s international expansion, overseeing global strategic planning, including direct Pan European digital licensing agreements through IMPEL supported by CTM Publishing.
The company also has oversight of other key international partners such as Native Tongue Music (Australia), peermusic (Latin America), Casablanca Media (Canada), Geoff Paynter (South Africa), and Fujipacific Music (Asia) – Pulse’s key financial partner that joined the company in 2014 to invest in creative ventures and help form Pulse Publishing Administration.
