Samantha Tzovolos has been named Managing Director for Singapore at Eventim Live Asia (ELA), a venture launched in July 2021 by global entertainment company CTS Eventim.
Mike Galt has also been appointed Senior Vice President of Touring for Asia.
Tzovolos will be based in Singapore, and reports to Jason Miller, Eventim Live Asia CEO.
As CEO of TEM, an independent live entertainment company based out of Jakarta, Indonesia, Tzovolos has produced shows in Indonesia for Sting, Michael Buble, Ariana Grande, the Chainsmokers, Backstreet Boys, Guns N’ Roses and John Mayer.
Tzovolos will remain in her role at TEM.
Tzovolos has also produced events in Singapore and elsewhere in Asia, for names such as Justin Bieber and Foo Fighters.
Mike Galt, meanwhile, will continue to be based in London, and also reports to Miller.
Galt has more than two decades of live entertainment experience, most recently as VP of Talent and Touring for Live Nation Entertainment, focused on international and emerging markets.
Galt has produced tours for Mumford and Sons, Troye Sivan, Guns N Roses, The Japanese House and The Weeknd.
He also booked talent for Abu Dhabi’s Formula 1 post-race concerts, and expanded the touring footprint in and around the Middle East while based in the United Arab Emirates.
In 2021, CTS Eventim entered the North American ticketing market after its US-based website eventim.com began selling tickets on September 26.
In August, the company announced the construction of the MSG Arena in Milan, Italy, which will be Italy’s largest multipurpose arena once completed.
