Grammy nominee and four-time International Dance Music Award winner Sasha has signed a publishing deal with UK-based indie Minds On Fire.
Sasha, also a four-time DJ Mag Award winner, leaves behind a previous deal with UMPG/PolyGram first signed in the nineties.
Minds On Fire will now look after the DJ/producer’s share of well-known tracks such as Xpander, Scorchio, Who Killed Sparky? and Coma.
The deal also covers newer catalogue such Out Of Time, Rivaldo and Sasha’s last album, Scene : Delete, plus an as-yet-unreleased album which is scheduled for Q4 this year.
Minds on Fire, launched in 2011 by James Pitt (also Director of Your Army promotions) and Simon Harris (ex Fabric and EMI Publishing) pitches itself as the ‘go-to publisher for credible electronic music to sync’.
Recent ad/marketing syncs secured by the company include partnerships with Dior, Louis Vuitton, Desparados, Adidas and Lenovo.
“Sasha’s new cinematic sound, as showcased on the 2016 album ‘Scene Delete’, is perfect for synchronisation with the added bonus of music with a genuine culture relevance.”
