Seeker Music, a music rights, publishing, and record company founded by songwriter Evan Bogart, has partnered with MITH Media, a Latin record label and artist management company.
The alliance aims to establish a strong presence in the booming Latin music industry, with a focus on artist development and creative collaboration, according to a press release on Tuesday (May 14).
The partnership will involve signing songwriters and artists, acquiring and managing catalogs, and expanding Seeker’s footprint in Latin America and US Latin music markets. They also seek to develop new genre-focused IP and projects.
Part of the deal includes managing Seeker’s existing catalog throughout Latin America. This initiative began in 2023 when Seeker and MITH Media partnered to promote the 10th anniversary of One Direction‘s Midnight Memories across the region.
The first two signings under the Seeker-MITH Publishing partnership are GRAMMY-nominated songwriter K. Sotomayor (Selena Gomez, DJ Snake, Sofia Reyes, Maria Becerra, Kim Petras), and singer-songwriter Dēlian (Mariah Angeliq, Sofia Reyes, Kurt, The Change, Malu Trevejo, Chesca, Lourdiz).
K Sotomayor’s co-written hit, COBARDE by Sofia Reyes and Beéle, has been in the Latin Pop Billboard charts for 20 weeks running, peaking at #3.
“As a songwriter, I’ve always been inspired by Latin music’s richness, passion, depth of songwriting, and music culture. It deeply resonates with me as a music creator, and it’s one of my biggest goals for Seeker in 2024, to embrace and invest in the Latin music genre, and community.”

For Seeker CEO and hit songwriter Evan Bogart and Charlie Guerrero, CEO of MITH Media, the partnership represents the culmination of years of friendship and shared vision. The pair have been exploring an alliance since mid-pandemic when Bogart had just started Seeker and had plans to expand into the Latin music market. At the time, Guerrero was in the process of expanding MITH.
“As a songwriter, I’ve always been inspired by Latin music’s richness, passion, depth of songwriting, and music culture. It deeply resonates with me as a music creator, and it’s one of my biggest goals for Seeker in 2024, to embrace and invest in the Latin music genre, and community,” said Bogart.
“There’s no two better people to partner with to make that happen than my friends, Charlie and Paloma, and their company MITH.”
“We’re in active conversations with several important catalogs in regards to investment and acquisition. And we’re identifying new songwriters and artists to sign and collaborate with.”

Steven Melrose, Seeker Music Global Head of Creative, added “Hugely excited to be partnering with Charlie, Paloma and the whole MITH team. They’re a great team that I know will add value to us all in our catalog, publishing and label adventures whilst also expanding the Seeker global reach that’s already firmly entrenched in Europe, the UK, and beyond!”
Guerrero said, “From the inception of MITH over a decade ago, our intention has always been to create a company that supports and empowers creativity and dreams.
“Evan is not only a creative that I admire and respect, and who shares MITH’s fundamental values, but he is also a brilliant businessman who I’m excited to work with, collaborate with, and learn from.”
“We’ve already been activating catalog campaigns in Latin territories with super cool street and digital campaigns and making new content from catalogs. We’re in active conversations with several important catalogs in regards to investment and acquisition. And we’re identifying new songwriters and artists to sign and collaborate with.”
The news comes two weeks after Seeker Music struck “a multi-million dollar deal” with Mark Morrison, the British singer-songwriter, best known for his hit Return of the Mack.
It follows a string of acquisitions by Seeker in recent months. The company acquired the publishing rights to Marcos “Kosine” Palacios’ catalog, including his share of hits like Nicki Minaj’s Anaconda and Rihanna’s Birthday Cake; the catalog of Plested, the songwriter behind hits for Lewis Capaldi and Niall Horan; the publishing catalog of UK production duo Future Cut; the full catalog of Christopher Cross; and the catalogs of pop songwriters John Ryan and Jon Bellion.
