Music industry veterans Shari Bryant (pictured left) and Omar Grant (pictured right) have been appointed Co-Presidents of the Roc Nation Label
Bryant and Grant succeed Benny Pough, who exited the company in March.
The new Co-Presidents will boost the label’s roster, and develop strategies for artists currently on the roster.
Bryant’s career began as an intern at Roc-A-Fella Records. The executive has also worked with Def Jam, Atlantic and Warner Bros.
She joins Roc Nation from Alamo Records, where she was General Manager and Partner.
Grant was previously head of A&R at Roc Nation, having worked for the company for nine years.
He has worked with the likes of Rihanna, Shakira, Big Sean and Belly, as well as recent Roc Nation signings, DJ Mustard and Rainy.
Grant’s career started at Columbia Records as an intern. He later worked for Destiny’s Child as a road manager.
He’s also held Senior A&R roles at EMI Music Publishing and Epic Records.
