Los Angeles-based music licensing startup Songtradr has hired music sync industry veteran, Steve Celi, as VP of Creative Services.
Celi (pictured) has 20+ years of experience in music and TV, most recently managing music for Fox On-Air Promotion, where he oversaw all aspects of music usage for the entire prime-time lineup.
He helped launch shows at Fox including American Idol, X Factor, Glee and Empire over an 18 year career.
At Songtradr, Celi will spearhead a team to produce custom music for advertisers, TV networks, films and other media.
He will also work with the music supervisor community in assisting them find music for their projects.

Songtradr has raised $6m in funding to date, and recently struck a landmark deal with retail music provider Mood Music.
