Music licensing platform Songtradr is getting some serious backing: the US-based company has signed a long-term partnership with Milamber Ventures PLC – the UK-based media, technology and education growth accelerator.
Songtradr says it will use resources from the relationship to execute both essential business development and to expand its business across the UK market.
The news comes after Songtradr recently doubled its growth into more than 150 countries, working with over 75,000 artists, songwriters and catalogs.
The company’s online global marketplace delivers commercial music to tastemakers, brands, apps, TV and filmmakers directly across all genres and languages.
Songtradr says that its partnership with Milamber Ventures will help it take advantage of a UK sync market where ‘commercial music licensing is a highly fragmented industry for European based brands, filmmakers and advertising agencies’.
“Songtradr has been experiencing rapid growth with our disruptive licensing model, and we have looked for the most strategic of partnerships globally to help support us across European territories.”
