Carmine Coppola has been named Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Sony Music Entertainment.
He will report to Kevin Kelleher, Sony Music Chief Operating Officer, in the role.
As EVP & CFO, Coppola will be responsible for managing Sony Music’s worldwide financial operations, as well as its information technology group.
The exec effectively replaces Kelleher as CFO at the major.
Kelleher stepped up to COO earlier this month – working under new Sony Music CEO Rob Stringer.
Coppola, who has been with Sony Music for 25 years, is being promoted from his current role of Global Controller and Executive Vice President, Global Finance, Sony Music Entertainment, where he oversees Global Financial Planning and Analysis, Global Financial Reporting and U.S. Shared Financial Services.
Kelleher stated, “I have worked with Carmine for many years and he has tremendous in-depth knowledge of our worldwide financial operations.
“Carmine has worked in many roles within the finance team over the course of his career with Sony Music, and we look forward to benefiting from his wealth of experience as we further grow our business around the world.”
