Sony Music Entertainment has entered into a worldwide talent development partnership with global superstar producer/DJ Kygo (Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll) and his manager Myles Shear.
The deal will the launch of Palm Tree Records, a new label imprint focused on ‘identifying and cultivating emerging artistry in dance and electronic music’.
Over his career, Kygo has amassed over 8.5 billion streams and over 47 million track equivalents worldwide.
Kygo and Shear hope to use the label to develop breaking new artists along with the pair’s newly-launched artist management company.
