SoundCloud has launched a new, weekly artist event series on Clubhouse featuring the First on SoundCloud 2021 artists.
The weekly artist event series kicks off on Clubhouse on May 26 and will be hosted by DJ, producer, and former MTV host Jasmine Solano, who will be joined First on SoundCloud 2021 artists including Charmaine, Ela Minus, Kid Quill, Lourdiz, Otis Kane, Payday, Sofia Mills, and SoFaygo.
As part of this new accelerator program, SoundCloud says that artists will invite collaborators, friends and fans each week to join in live conversations and connect artists with musicians, influencers, entrepreneurs and industry leaders.
The full conversations will also be available to fans on the artists’ SoundCloud profiles following the event.
Launched in March 2021, First on SoundCloud’s accelerator program focuses on investment in artist careers and generating long-term success for musicians.
Powered by SoundCloud’s artist development experts, creator resources, artist-to-fan communities, and its editorial team, First on SoundCloud works closely with artists to produce “memorable, authentic, career-making moments”.
The program originally launched with stars Trippie Redd and Rico Nasty, who took to Instagram live to connect with First on SoundCloud artists SoFaygo and Charmaine.
The First on SoundCloud Clubhouse schedule kicks off on Wednesday, May 26 with rapper SoFaygo, and will later welcome artists including Lourdiz, Payday, Otis Kane and more every Wednesday until July 21.
Times will be announced each week on SoundCloud’s social channels and on the First on SoundCloud editorial platform.

“The drop-in, all-talk experience on Clubhouse, and SoundCloud’s dynamic fan communities, both shape today’s culture.”
