Spencer Lee, Managing Director of Asia Pacific, peermusic, has expanded his responsibilities to include the new position of Asia Pacific President.
The news was announced today by Mary Megan Peer, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, peermusic.
Lee is currently Managing Director for territories including Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, India and The Philippines.
In his new role, he will additionally assume responsibility for South Korea, the sixth largest music market in the world according to the IFPI, and now the third largest territory in the peermusic worldwide network in terms of revenue.
Lee joined peermusic in 2018 as Managing Director, Asia Pacific after 20-plus years with Hong Kong’s performing rights organization, CASH, as Deputy CEO.

peermusic Korea is run by Heesun Park and has hosted a number of song camps in Korea, Stockholm and, more recently on Zoom, focused on the K-pop market resulting in hits with the likes of Monsta X, Super Junior and Taeyon.
“Spencer Lee has been instrumental in driving this growth, especially in China, and we are thrilled he will be continuing to lead this region, including South Korea.”
