Wendy Saunders has been hired as Music Director at Australian radio station Nova 96.9, working across its key programs and national shows.
Saunders (pictured) joins NOVA Entertainment’s Sydney team, shaping and executing the Nova music strategy and maintaining partnerships with leading record company representatives.
With over 13 years’ experience in music programming and production, most recently Saunders was Music Programmer at MTV Australia.
The exec previously spent seven years at Foxtel across various roles including Program Manager and Programmer for Channel [V], CMC and Arena.
Group Programme Director at Nova Entertainment, Paul Jackson, said “We are delighted to have Wendy join the Nova Network. With extensive music programming experience across multiple platforms and strong knowledge of the market, she will be a great asset to the team.”
Wendy Saunders’ appointment is effective immediately.
