Ditto Music is a UK-headquartered distribution and services company for independent artists and labels.
Co-founded by brothers Lee and Matt Parsons in 2005, the company offers basic DIY digital distribution to independent artists, in addition to marketing, promotion, PR and other services via its Ditto Plus operation.
The company runs over 20 offices in multiple territories worldwide including the UK, US, Sweden, Brazil, Mexico, Philippines, South Africa, France, Argentina, Chile, India, Canada, South Korea and Spain.
Artists Ditto has worked with / distributed down the years include Ed Sheeran, Stormzy, Sam Smith, Royal Blood, Chance The Rapper, Sarkodie and many more.
Ditto: Launch of music publishing division
In July 2019, Ditto announced that it was launching its own music publishing division.
Speaking to MBW, Ditto Music CEO Lee Parsons said that Ditto will “be doing everything a publisher does, from signing acts to collecting royalties all over the world”.
“We’ll also be launching various new tools and services for our own artists and then expanding those out for third parties,” he added.
Launch of Ditto Management
The announcement of Ditto’s music publishing division came three months after the company launched its in-house artist management division.
Ditto Management went on to represent artists including Big Zuu and Nathan Dawe, who scored a No.4 hit on the Official UK Singles Chart in 2019 with single Lighter (ft. KSI) via Atlantic Records.Music Business Worldwide
