Better Noise Music is a New York-headquartered record company group born out of the rebrand of Eleven Seven Label Group in October 2019.
The company’s biggest signings include the likes of Five Finger Death Punch, AWOLNATION and Mongolian rock stars, The HU.
Better Noise, like Eleven Seven before it, was founded by successful American artist manager and entrepreneur, Allen Kovac.
Better Noise Music runs offices New York, Los Angeles, London, Berlin, Toronto and Sydney.
Radio success
In late 2020, Better Noise Music made radio history in the US on the Mediabase Active Rock Chart, ranking as the No.1 label on the chart for three straight years.
Mediabase acknowledged Better Noise Music’s achievement in the 2020 year-end radio charts.
The news came in the same week that Billboard named Better Noise Music No.1 Mainstream Rock Label of 2020.
Said Allen Kovac at the time: “Whenever I am asked how we are able to garner this success, my answer is the same, there is no secret sauce.
“The A&R at Better Noise Music is second to none, combining that with data science and fan engagement allows us to lean in when the data shows that a track is working for the listeners, and that’s good for radio, streaming, the artist and the label.”
Movies and TV work
Allen Kovac has diversified Better Noise into what he calls “a content company”, beyond just recorded music, and into books, movies, TV series, documentaries, touring and theater productions.
The company’s Better Noise Films division releases Sno Babies in September 2020 – a drama reflecting the devastating impact of opioid addiction on parts of suburban America. The movie raised money for the Global Recovery Initiatives Foundation (GRI) and the Amy Winehouse Foundation.
Kovac previously co-produced The Dirt, the Netflix movie depicting the story of rock band Mötley Crüe.
Kovac is the long-term manager of Mötley Crüe and band member Nikki Sixx.Music Business Worldwide
