UK vocal harmony group The Overtones have chosen Absolute Label Services to release their sixth studio album in a worldwide deal.
The new LP, titled The Overtones, will be released on the group’s own Gambling Man Records, with Absolute providing full label services support including sales, marketing, distribution and more.
The album will be released this Friday (October 19), with two taster tracks You To Me Are Everything and I Say A Little Prayer currently available on Spotify.
This will be the group’s first album as a four-piece following the passing of Timmy Matley in April this year.
The self-titled release is a collection of both covers and original songs built as a tribute to Matley. It will see the group reunite once again with producer Julian Hinton and engineer Simon Bloor.
Since their arrival in 2010 with their debut, Good Ol’ Fashioned Love, The Overtones have sold over a million records.
The group have also announced a 22-date UK tour starting on November 22 at Watford Colosseum and ending with a special festive show at London’s Indigo at the O2 on December 20 2018.
