This Fiction Music (X Ambassadors, JP Saxe, Jukebox the Ghost) and Spark Music Group (Dan Romer, Teddy Geiger, Andrew Maury) have launched a new joint publishing venture called Campfire Songs.
The Los Angeles-based company’s first signing is South African writer/producer duo, NOBLE, who have relocated to Los Angeles.
Founders Seth Kallen and Ollie Hammett began their careers in New York City, sharing a Williamsburg office in their early days of launching their respective management companies.
In 2020, with the global pandemic creating challenges for writers and producers around the world, the duo pooled their resources.
The Campfire Songs team credits A&R consultant Will Dailey, a songwriter himself, for helping to discover NOBLE.
The rest of the team consists of Ann Markwell, Cassie Massa, & Luke Weber.
Campfire is represented by Doug Mark at Mark Music & Media Law.
“It’s been exciting to be reminded that music is global, and great writers, artists, and producers have been able to adapt and work remotely on creating great music.”
Seth Kallen
Kallen said: “Ollie and I are longtime friends, and have had many long conversations about both the struggles and thrills of being management entrepreneurs.
“When the realities of the pandemic started to truly set in, we leaned on and supported each other, as many independent managers were doing, to figure out how to survive through so much uncertainty.
“We both made a distinct decision to build something.

“We have the privilege of working with some truly extraordinary clients and the best humans in the biz. Bubele & David are a very welcome addition to our extended musical family.”

Ollie Hammett added: “We have the privilege of working with some truly extraordinary clients and the best humans in the biz. Bubele & David are a very welcome addition to our extended musical family.
“They’re both brilliant young men in every respect and their work speaks for itself.
“They’ve already built an impressive discography out of South Africa including local talents Manana, Manu Worldstar, Nasty C, Lloyiso, and Will Linley, and even clocked up a Beyonce Grammy nod.
“We’re beyond excited to introduce their talent to the rest of the music world.”Music Business Worldwide
