Tech giant Samsung has entered into its second major streaming service partnership in less than two months.
TIDAL has now partnered with Samsung to launch an app for Samsung TV, which follows the news in August that Spotify and Samsung have entered into an agreement for the Swedish company to be the ‘go to music service provider’ for Samsung products.
According to the streaming company, the app for Samsung TV is ‘just the beginning of the partnership,’ and there will be even more integration within Samsung products further down the line.
TIDAL subscribers will have access to a Samsung TV-specific user interface that ‘prioritizes TIDAL visual content’ via the home screen on Samsung on TVs.
TIDAL is also available on Android TV, Apple TV and Fire TV as well as being compatible with Android Auto, Amazon Fire TV, Apple CarPlay and Sonos.Music Business Worldwide
