Tim Hrycyshyn has been promoted to the role of Senior Vice President, Digital Strategy at Universal Music Group-owned Republic records.
The news was announced on Thursday (October 20) by Executive Vice President of Global Commerce and Digital Strategy Kevin Lipson.
Hrycyshyn is based at the company’s New York headquarters.
Hrycyshyn joined Republic Records in 2015 as Director of Digital Marketing.
In 2019, he became Vice President of Digital Marketing.
Hrycyshyn oversees the department that spearheads online marketing strategy for artists across the Republic roster.
The label says he has “proven instrumental to the digital influence and impact” of artists including The Weeknd, Post Malone, and Nicki Minaj to Glass Animals and Stephen Sanchez, to name a few.
Elsewhere at Republic Records Donna Gryn was recently promoted to Executive Vice President for Global Marketing Strategy, four years after being promoted to Senior Vice President for Marketing.
In August, Republic Records expanded into the world of family entertainment with the launch of a Kids & Family division.
