Universal Music has appointed Florian Jungbauer as Senior Vice President Marketing, Consumer Engagement & Digital Partner Management, South-East Asia.
In the newly-created role, Jungbauer will lead ‘integrated global social media, content, community, fan engagement and digital marketing’ for Universal Music and its artists across the region.
The exec leaves behind his position as MD with Vocanic – South-East Asia’s largest social media marketing firm and part of the world’s largest media agency network, GroupM Digital.
At Vocanic, Jungbauer worked on integrated campaigns for high-end clients across FMCG, telco, finance, fashion and food & beverage industries.
Based in Hong Kong, Universal says Jungbauer ‘play a critical role in leading, influencing and developing our digital marketing and consumer engagement in South-East Asia’.
