Viberate has launched an artist chart featuring genre, performance, fanbase and geolocation filters, with the aim of making it easier to discover new talent around the world.
Fueled by streaming and social media data and customizable with country, genre, and performance filters, the company believes the chart has the potential to change the way A&R teams identify emerging artists, giving them more control and accuracy.
The chart helps A&Rs pinpoint artists in specific genres at specific stages of their growth – they can then benchmark a range of suitable candidates against each other. Artists can also be tagged in order to follow their progress in real time.
The Artist Chart is a part of the wider Viberate platform which currently ranks and analyzes 700K+ artists. The Slovenia-headquartered company (with offices in LA and London) recently reduced the price of its full Premium plan from $129 to $9.90 per month, with co-founder Vasja Veber saying at the time: “If we want the entire industry to prosper, we need to provide the tools at an affordable price.”
The company has indicated that its busy start to 2023 will continue into the second half of the year, with more announcements due soon regarding what it calls its “mission to revolutionize the way the music industry uses data”.
Viberate offers three pricing tiers, including its free Lite tier, which offers limited Artist & Track Analytics, limited talent discovery and management tools and basic genre and country trends.
The Premium tier (now $9.90 instead of $129) includes access to charts with advanced talent discovery filters; complete Artist & Track Analytics; alerts with updates and strategic shifts; playlist performance; fanbase demographics; benchmarking and reporting tools; CSV & PDF exports, and channel-specific and cross-channel metrics: TikTok, Instagram, Spotify, YouTube, Shazam, Airplay, etc.
