Warner Chappell Music has entered into an exclusive worldwide co-publishing deal with Section 8.
The producer/songwriter is one of Lil Baby’s main collaborators.
In June, Section 8 debuted at No.3 on the Billboard Hot 100 Songwriters and Hot 100 Producers lists, following his work on Lil Baby’s RIAA-certified gold hits, The Bigger Picture and We Paid (with 42 Dugg) — both of which landed in the Top 10 on the Hot 100 within two weeks of each other.
The Bigger Picture, which Section 8 co-wrote and co-produced, was one of the most streamed protest tracks of the racial injustice movement in June.
The rapper’s highest-charting single ever, The Bigger Picture appeared on My Turn, which went No.1 on Apple Music and landed Lil Baby at the top of the Billboard 200 chart for the first time.
Section 8 also helped to write and produce Get Money, Humble, and Social Distancing from the album.
“This is Section 8’s moment, and I couldn’t be more proud to be side-by-side with him for the ride.”
