Neuland Concerts GmbH has been acquired by its management from parent company Warner Music Germany.
The deal was finalized between Managing Director Christian Gerlach and Warner Music Germany on April 1, 2017.
Neuland Concerts was established in 2008 as a division of Warner Music Germany. It quickly developed into one of Germany’s top live music tour operators and, in 2015, it became a standalone operation within Warner Music Germany.
Although Neuland Concerts will now operate as a fully independent company, it will continue to work closely with Warner Music Germany, promoting its artists’ tours in Germany and elsewhere.
In the context of the sale, Bernd Dopp, Chairman & CEO Warner Music Central Europe, and Christian Gerlach agreed on the continuing long-term and extensive cooperation of the two companies.
Bernd Dopp said: “Neuland Concerts is highly successful, having staged more than 5,000 events, from intimate club gigs to celebrated arena shows. It is now ready to operate fully independently and I am delighted that Christian Gerlach will be taking the company forward. I would like to thank the whole Neuland team for their efforts over the years and I wish them all the best for the future.”
“By taking this step, we will now address the growing complexity and increasing diversity of our artist portfolio.”

Hamburg-based Neuland Concerts manages numerous national and international tours and supports artists as an exclusive booking agency.
It also produces special events, as well as operating in the competitive field of corporate and brand partnership events.
