Wixen Music Publishing has agreed a sub-publishing agreement with independent Australian and New Zealand firm Native Tongue.
The deal means Native Tongue will represent Wixen’s catalogue in its home territories.
That catalogue features over 4,000 clients and publishing companies including The Doors (pictured), Tom Petty, Styx, Journey, Santana, Jefferson Airplane, the Beach Boys’ Brother Publishing, Jonathan Richman, Michael McDonald and the Doobie Brothers, and Stephen Stills.
Contemporary clients include Rage Against The Machine, Rancid, NOFX, Cake, Fitz and The Tantrums, Weezer and Missy Elliot.
“We love multi-generation family-owned publishers and Native Tongue is the exact sort of company we look for to partner with for our subpublishing.”
