Widely respected British music executive Zeon Richards has joined Robomagic Live as Vice President.
According to an update on his LinkedIn profile spotted by MBW, Richards joined the promoter in August 2022.
Richards was formerly Head of Partnerships at UK-born travel and experiences company Pollen, which he joined in January 2021.
According to Richards’ LinkedIn profile, at Pollen, he managed partnerships with the likes of WME, AEG, CAA, Paradigm and UTA in the development of various music experiences.
He also managed relationships with prominent artists and brands, and worked on experiences with artists including Skepta, Charlie Sloth, Wizkid and others.
The exec revealed in a LinkedIn post on July 8 that he had resigned from his position at Pollen, which has since fallen into administration.
Prior to Pollen, Richards was Head of A&R at Ministry of Sound, which he joined in March 2018.
He moved over to Ministry of Sound from Polydor Records in the UK where he worked for three years as an A&R consultant.
This year, Richards was named by Complex as one of ’15 Black British Music Execs Shaking the System’ in 2022.
Robomagic Live was founded by former AEG President Rob Hallett 2015.
The company operates in the UK and Europe, and is a strand of the Robomagic business founded by Hallett in 2015.
Robomagic Live has produced events such as the Free Larry Hoover Benefit featuring Ye and Drake, Nile Rodgers’ FOLD Festival and the Essence Festival in South Africa.
The firm’s founder Rob Hallett has worked with the likes of Prince, Duran Duran, Leonard Cohen and the Sex Pistols, and was a backer of independent UK festival Standon Calling in 2015.
Robomagic Live was acquired by North America-based live promoter Outback Presents in February.
