UK-based B2B Digital music services company 7digital has hired Julia Hubbard as its new full time Chief Financial Officer.
David Holmwood, who has been acting as CFO since June 2018, will hand over responsibilities to Hubbard in the coming weeks.
Hubbard was previously CFO at AIM listed Amino Technologies plc and was Group Financial Controller in the early days of travel firm Lastminute.com.
She also served in roles at Mowlem plc and CSC Media Group, where she was CFO.
It is intended that Hubbard will join the 7digital board upon completion of the required nominated adviser due diligence process.
Hubbard’s appointment follows the news at the start of the March that Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Pete Downton has left the company.
Shares in 7digital dropping by 6.3% on Friday (March 8) after the news of Downton’s exit first emerged.
The beginning of March also saw 7digital accept a €4 million settlement to end its partnership with Juke Entertainment.
