UK-based Absolute Label Services has signed Mid Century Records to a label services deal.
Mid Century Records is the label founded by Pip Brown, also known as synth pop act Ladyhawke.
As part of the deal – signed after working closely with Ladyhawke’s management company, ie:music – Absolute will provide full label services including distribution, sales, marketing, digital services and label management for Ladyhawke’s third studio album Wild Things, which is set for release on June 3.
The album has received support from BBC Radio 2 and 6 Music, as well as being added to Spotify‘s New Music Friday playlist.
Integral to the campaign is a unique direct-to-fan offering, which has also seen a strong start.
