SoundCloud has launched a new $19.99-a-month DJ plan, called SoundCloud DJ, that offers unlimited offline access to the platform’s catalog in its DJ performance software integrations.
With the new DJ-centric tier, you can save unlimited tracks locally in select DJ apps, stream in high quality audio and mix SoundCloud tracks within select DJ apps.
At launch, SoundCloud DJ will work with Virtual DJ, Cross DJ and Denon DJ will be added in the coming months.
SoundCloud also states that it will be rolling this out to other partners, existing and new, soon.
The company first announced streaming integration partnerships with DJ performance software companies in October 2018.
SoundCloud claims that SoundCloud DJ features “the largest catalog of any offline plan at a lower price than the competition”.
Elsewhere, SoundCloud has also rolled out additional features to its integrations including in-app track data so DJs can identify tracks by key and tempo (available via Virtual DJ and Algoriddim with more partners to be announced).
The platform will also be introducing curated playlists in the coming months.
