Amazon-owned music streaming service Amazon Music has launched a redesigned version of its ‘Amazon Music for Artists’ website.
Amazon Music for Artists is accessible by artists and their teams (including managers, labels, and distributors) who have content delivered to the Amazon Music platform.
The platform, which features real-time data and analytics, is described as “a one-stop shop to manage your business and presence on Amazon Music”.
In addition to launching the new website, Amazon Music has started a new content series called ‘Off The Record’, which features artist case studies on how they worked with the platform on campaigns along with details of achievements during those campaigns.
The first of these studies features sierreño band Conexión Divina.
The music streaming service recently collaborated with Conexión Divina on what it describes as “a multi-phased campaign” including an Amazon Music Original, new album release, programming support, and Artist Stories “to help them bring regional Mexican music to the mainstream”.
Amazon Music claims that, through working with the band, the platform was able to triple their fan growth three months after their album release.
Conexión Divina’s Amazon Music Original has also become their biggest song on Amazon Music and the band was the first Latin Music artist to be featured on Amazon Music Artist stories.
Elsewhere on the new site, Amazon Music offers educational video content on subjects ranging from selling merch on Amazon, to pitching new music for global curation and programming consideration.
There is also educational content available on how to create a voic- note-accompanied ‘Spotlight‘ as well as ‘Intros‘.
Amazon Music for Artists also features data analytics and reporting tools.
Elsewhere at Amazon Music, earlier this year that platform launched a new merch integration with global concert-discovery platform Bandsintown.
Via the integration, fans globally can shop merch items from artists while browsing artist profile pages on the Bandsintown website and app.
n February, Amazon Music entered into ‘a collaboration’ with generative AI music company Endel for the latter company to produce wellness playlists using its AI tech.Music Business Worldwide
