BMG has signed an exclusive worldwide publishing deal with Bruno Mars.
The singer/songwriter/producer/musician’s debut album Doo-Wops & Hooligans has earned 36 Platinum certifications worldwide.
Mars’ first solo single “Just the Way You Are,” hit number 1 in multiple countries across the world and won the critically-acclaimed artist a Grammy Award for “Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.”
Doo-Wops & Hooligans has claimed two additional hit singles “Grenade” and “The Lazy Song.” Mars is a 13-time Grammy Award nominee and has now sold over 36 million singles worldwide.
As a member of the songwriting and production team The Smeezingtons (Mars, Ari Levine, Phil Lawrence), he has co-written and/or produced several multi-platinum singles including B.o.B’s “Nothin’ on You,” Flo Rida’s “Right Round,” Travie McCoy’s “Billionaire” and Cee Lo Green’s Grammy-nominated “Fuck You.”
Most recently, Mars scored his 11th top 10 single on the Billboard Hot 100 with the single “It Will Rain” from the blockbuster film The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1. Also in 2012, Bruno took home the Brit Award for Best International Male Solo Artist.
