Concord has hired Colton McGee as Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs for Concord Label Group.
Reporting to EVP of Business and Legal Affairs Gregg Goldman and based in Concord’s Nashville headquarters.
McGee will work with Goldman as a key member of the business and legal affairs team for Concord’s recorded music division.
His remit will include supporting Concord Label Group and Craft Recordings through new artist signings, acquisitions and management of historical rights.
Before joining Concord, McGee spent 13 years at BBR Music Group in Nashville.
There, according to Concord, he was central in the acquisition of BBR by BMG in 2017.
From 2017 on, McGee handled business and legal affairs for both BBR Music Group and BMG.
In January 2023, Adam Gardiner was appointed SVP, Business & Legal Affairs at Concord Music Publishing . The exec joined from Universal Music’s creative division, Globe, where he was Head of Film & TV.
In October 2022, Concord unveiled a new logo and announced the expansion of its Nashville HQ.
