Concord Music has revealed the names who will lead its newly-integrated worldwide publishing business, which was bolstered last year with the acquisition of Imagem Music Group and a merger with The Bicycle Music Company in 2015.
The business is now structured around The Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization and Boosey & Hawkes – which were brought across as part of Imagem – in addition to a consolidated popular song publishing group which merges together The Bicycle Music Company, Imagem Music, and Razor & Tie Publishing.
Concord’s publishing portfolio currently stands at around 380,000 copyrights.
After spending the past decade running The Bicycle Music Company, Jake Wisely has been appointed Chief Publishing Executive of Concord Music.
Reporting to Concord Music’s CEO Scott Pascucci, he is located at the company’s new Nashville office, where most of Concord’s US publishing activities will now be centered.
Previously, Wisely worked at ASCAP, Universal Music Publishing, and EMI Music Publishing. He is a current NMPA board member.
“Jake has been a key factor in the growth of Concord Music. He will continue to steer our publishing business in unique and successful directions in years to come.”

Pascucci said: “Jake is one of the founding members of Bicycle Music and has been a key factor in the growth of Concord Music.
“He will continue to steer our publishing business in unique and successful directions in years to come.”
Bill Gaden will lead Concord Music’s domestic publishing business as its President for North America.
Having held senior positions at BMG Records, BBC Worldwide, Simon & Schuster, and Golden Books, Gaden joined The Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization in 2005.
In 2015, six years after its acquisition by Imagem, he became CEO of Imagem USA.
Working from Concord Music’s New York office, Gaden will report to Wisely.
John Minch will oversee Concord Music’s European and other international publishing interests as its President for Europe.
Minch, based in London, has managed Boosey & Hawkes since 2001.
Subsequent to the sale of Boosey & Hawkes to Imagem in 2008, he took on the role of Chief Executive of Imagem UK. He also reports to Wisely.
Finally, Kent Hoskins has been appointed Concord Music’s Chief Financial Officer for all publishing operations.
Hoskins is based in London and is a qualified chartered accountant.
After working as a Finance Manager with the BBC, he joined Boosey & Hawkes as Group Financial Controller in 2001.
When Boosey & Hawkes was sold to Imagem in 2008, he was made Imagem UK CFO and, in 2015, was promoted to Global Head of Finance.
Hoskins reports to Concord Music’s overall Chief Financial Officer, Bob Valentine.
Bill, John, and Kent’s wealth of knowledge, experience, and resources, along with that of our entire staff, cements Concord’s future as a dynamic, world class music publisher.”

Wisely commented: “As principals of Concord Music’s publishing executive committee, Bill, John, and Kent have proven themselves invaluable partners in the melding of a spectacular roster and catalog, along with the systems, infrastructure, and best practices of the Bicycle and Imagem businesses.
“Their wealth of knowledge, experience, and resources, along with that of our entire staff, cements Concord’s future as a dynamic, world class music publisher.”
