Spotify‘s Loud & Clear website is a treasure trove of data about the popularity – and the royalty earnings – of tracks and artists on the platform.
Loud & Clear allows users to assess how many artists and/or tracks have exceeded certain listenership thresholds.
Below you can see annual data for how many Spotify artists have surpassed a certain number of all-time streams.
(Please note, these are not segmented, i.e. the number of artists who have more than 500,000 all-time streams will also be counted in the number of artists with over 1m all-time streams etc.)
Loud & Clear uses data from the previous year to its update; for example, the 2024 version of Loud & Clear is based on full-year data from 2023.
