As such, both companies state the size of their global employee base each year.
Warner gives a number in its fiscal Q4 (calendar Q3) quarter every 12 months. Spotify gives its number in its calendar Q4/fiscal Q4 SEC filing a few months later.
Warner’s headcount number includes temporary and part-time staff, as of the end of its FY. Spotify’s number is an annual average figure, and only includes full-time staff.
