BMG Production Music (BMGPM) has hired Deb Oh as Senior Director of Creative Licensing.
Oh is tasked with leading BMGPM’s advertising with production music for the East Coast, as well as launching a Custom Advertising department.
Based in New York, she reports to BMGPM US sales team lead, Amberly Crouse-Knox.
A classically-trained musician, Oh joins BMGPM from creative audio agency Squeak E. Clean Studios where she was Executive Producer of the New York office, working on campaigns for Ford, Spotify, Microsoft, Nintendo, and Mastercard among many others.
Prior to that she held producer roles at music and sound boutique Nylon Studios and Young & Rubicam.
She is also the founder of the personalized music concierge service, DEBOP.
BMGPM has grown its production music division with a number of key senior hires and deals in the past couple of years, including the acquisition of Deep East Music and Dynamic Music, partnerships with ITV Studios, Bonne Pioche Music, Wibbitz and Red Bull, and the launch of an in-house creative agency.
