Downtown has named Tristan Wilson Head of Sync & Brand Partnerships in the UK.
Wilson joins from Warner Music UK where he spent nearly four years as Senior Creative Manager, leading various sync campaigns with artists including Coldplay, Dua Lipa, Royal Blood, and Ed Sheeran.
In his new role at Downtown, Wilson will drive collaborations with advertising agencies, music supervisors, and brands to leverage opportunities in Europe both creatively and commercially for the company’s client roster.
His career began at independent labels Beggars and Domino before moving to BBH, where he worked as a music supervisor across brands such as Audi, British Airways, Google, and Lynx.
In addition, Peter Walsh has been promoted to Creative Associate.
Reporting to Wilson, Walsh will be responsible for exploiting Downtown’s song catalog for TV, film, advertisements, and brand opportunities.
He is relocating to Downtown’s London office following a year working with the company’s global creative services and licensing teams at its headquarters in New York.
“Having a strong creative voice in our London office is essential, and when it comes to sync licensing and strategic marketing, Tristan brings exactly that.”
