Eagle Rock Entertainment A&R Manager Andy McIntyre has left the company to become General Manager of Arising Artist – a consultancy that offers a range of skills and expertise to emerging performers and music companies.
At Eagle Rock, McIntyre oversaw album projects by such artists as Gary Moore, John Mayall, Willy DeVille, Rory Gallagher, Heart, Candy Dulfer, The Levellers, Black Label Society and Wishbone Ash.
As audio production and A&R manager for the DVD division he worked on campaigns for a huge selection of talent, including The Rolling Stones, Queen, The Who, Miles Davis, Deep Purple, Jethro Tull, The Shadows, Duran Duran, Carlos Santana, Wu Tang Clan, Talking Heads, ZZ Top, Lou Reed, The Cure, Meat Loaf, James Last and many others.
Arising Artist is a subsidiary of entertainment retailer TuneTribe. It aims to provide ‘a full service consultation programme for anybody needing help, advice, insight and critical assessment from its team of highly regarded music industry experts’.
Arising Artist consultants offer anything from a one hour session right through to a full campaign. The range of expertise available includes A&R, legal, accounting, publicity, plugging, music publishing, marketing, digital, management, production and much more. Meetings with consultants can be taken digitally, in person, or over the telephone.
