New York-based indie record label FADER Label signed two new artists to its roster, singer-songwriters Charlie Burg and Zachary Knowles.
Following a handful of recent signings including fast-rising Clairo, FADER Label is investing in new, emerging artists and expanding the label team to support them.
As the label’s roster continues to grow, FADER Label has expanded its infrastructure — building the largest team in the Label’s 17-year history with experienced industry personnel.
This year, FADER Label brought on General Manager Carson Oberg to help lead the direction of the label under co-founder Jon Cohen.
In addition, Yasmine Panah, formerly of Billboard and Cult Records, joins FADER Label as Project Manager.
Josh Hymowitz, formerly of UMG and SiriusXM, joins as Label Coordinator.
“Carson Oberg has been a tremendous addition to our team. His taste and A&R instincts are unparalleled and a perfect fit for FADER Label.”

Charlie Burg, currently on tour in the US opening for Mom + Pop’s Ashe, has amassed millions of streams across Spotify and Apple Music.
Burg has sold out headlining shows in New York and Los Angeles this year.
Zachary Knowles just began releasing music officially in 2018, where he was writing and recording in his dorm room at Texas A&M and received attention for his single Slow Down My Thoughts.
This month Knowles debuted his live show in Los Angeles, opening for singer-songwriter Alec Benjamin.
“Carson Oberg has been a tremendous addition to our team,” said Jon Cohen.
“With his background as an artist manager and beyond, he understands all aspects of helping our artists execute their vision with great respect for what we have built with the overall company. His taste and A&R instincts are unparalleled and a perfect fit for FADER Label.”
