Faryal Khan-Thompson appointed Vice President, International at TuneCore

Believe-owned DIY distribution platform TuneCore has appointed Faryal Khan-Thompson as Vice President, International.

Khan-Thompson will report to Andreea Gleeson, Chief Revenue Officer, TuneCore.

Khan-Thompson will oversee TuneCore’s international team as well as the company’s growth and expansion into new countries and territories.

The new hire follows TuneCore’s expansion this year into India, as well as Brazil and Russia.

The company also  expanded into Germany, France and Italy in 2016, the UK and Australia markets in 2015, while TuneCore Japan and TuneCore Canada have had similar localized services since 2012 and 2011, respectively.

TuneCore states that other key market, language and website localization launches are being planned as it continues its global expansion.

Khan-Thompson joins TuneCore from Tag, an international creative production agency, where she was Global Head of the company’s Localization division.

There, she oversaw teams across the Americas, EMEA, LATAM and APAC regions.
