Hannah Dudley joins Sony Music Nashville as Marketing Director

Former Warner Music UK exec Hannah Dudley has joined Sony Music Nashville as Director, Marketing.

In her new role, Nashville-based Dudley will report into Paul Barnabee, Senior Vice President, Marketing.

She will be responsible for the strategy, development and execution of targeted marketing campaigns for her assigned artists.

Barnabee said: “What a pleasure it is for me to welcome Hannah to our Sony Music Nashville team. She has such a passion for country music.”

Dudley worked for EMI in London for five years from 2008, before being drafted into Warner Music UK as part of its Parlophone Label Group acquisition in summer 2013.

For the next two years, she was Head Of Digital & Strategic Marketing across Warner‘s East West Records/Rhino/Label Services divisions.

Since November last year, she has run her own consultancy, Dream Big Entertainment Group, operating between London and Nashville.

Added Barnabee: “Hannah’s experience beyond the US market is a real asset as we constantly explore new and effective ways to impact music consumers.

“Also, her track record of creative thinking and strategic marketing complement the core goals of our marketing department.”

While at Warner UK, Dudley worked on global catalogue campaigns for Pink Floyd, David Bowie and Blur, and new albums for Robert Plant, Pink Floyd and Bette Midler.

Country-wise, she led Hunter Hayes’ album launch and also set up releases for Brett Eldredge and Ashley Monroe.

At EMI UK, she worked projects on The Beatles, Iron Maiden and Daft Punk.Music Business Worldwide
