Hard Rock International will host the first-ever Hard Rock Rising Barcelona Music Festival in Spain on July 24 – 25, 2015.
The announcement comes after the company revealed in February that it would be launching the Hard Rock Rising Miami Beach on March 26, 2015, hosted in partnership with Seminole Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood, Fla.
Hard Rock first started holding music festivals in London with Hard Rock Calling in 2006, which continued over the next eight years before Hard Rock split with partner promoter Live Nation.
Hard Rock Rising Barcelona will feature 16 hours of live music across two full days. Its confirmed line-up includes Avicii, Kings Of Leon and Lenny Kravitz (pictured).
Hard Rock Rising Miami Beach will host Andrea Bocelli, Barry Gibb, Gloria Estefan and Flo Rida.
“Live music has been at the heart of the Hard Rock brand since its inception, and continues to be a focal point of our brand expansion efforts in 2015,” said John Galloway, Senior Vice President and CMO for Hard Rock International.
“These festivals provide us with an opportunity to showcase up-and-coming artists, while continuing to further our partnerships with iconic artists in the U.S. and abroad.”
Hard Rock International hosted more than 28,000 live music events worldwide in 2014.
Hard Rock International owns a total of 198 venues in 63 countries, including 152 cafes, 21 hotels and 10 casinos.Music Business Worldwide
