Germany’s most successful musical artist, Helene Fischer, and Universal Music Germany have agreed to a new long-term extension of their partnership.
Having first signed with EMI Records in 2005, before moving to Universal Music Germany in 2013 after the companies merged, Helene Fischer has consistently broken sales records, achieving combined album sales exceeding 16.3 million.
Since 2013, Fischer has topped Germany’s annual sales charts on five separate occasions, more than any other artist in German chart history.
Her album Farbenspiel has sold more than 2.7 million copies, Germany’s most successful album of the past decade.
Her mega-hit Atemlos durch die Nacht is the most successful German download single of all time and Helene is one of Germany’s most streamed female artists.
Fischer will release new album Rausch visa Polydor/Island/Universal Music Germany in October.
In addition, next year, Fischer will perform the biggest concert of her career to date in Munich, selling 100,000 tickets in under 24 hours.
