Diljit Dosanjh, an India-based superstar actor, singer, songwriter, and television presenter nicknamed the ‘Super Singh of Punjab’, has partnered with Warner Music.
This is the first time Dosanjh has signed a deal with a major record company, says Warner.
Dosanjh will be working with Warner Music to amplify his global music career.
Dosanjh has forthcoming singles with Canadian rapper Tory Lanez and the Tanzanian name Diamond Platnumz, who announced his own partnership with Warner Music last year.
Dosanjh has recorded 13 studio albums to date, and his 2020 album G.O.A.T. was featured on Billboard’s Global Chart and went Top 20 in Canada.
His latest track, Lover, has generated more than 68 million views on YouTube.
The partnership is the latest move from Warner Music India, which launched two years ago, in March 2020, and is headed by ex-Sony executive Jay Mehta.
The company recently struck a strategic partnership with India-based pop star Armaan Malik to launch a new label, Always Music Global, dedicated to homegrown talent.
