Influence Media Partners, a music and entertainment company backed by BlackRock and Warner Music Group, has acquired music catalogs from Grammy Award-winning producers 30 Roc and Dre Moon.
Influence noted that its deal with Dre Moon covers 118 tracks, including hits like Heartless by The Weeknd, Drunk In Love by Beyoncé ft. Jay-Z, and Armed and Dangerous by Juice WRLD.
In addition to Dre Moon’s catalog, Influence Media says that its deal with 30 Roc includes 150 tracks including the Diamond-certified hit The Box by Roddy Rich, Rake It Up by Yo Gotti ft. Nicki Minaj, Stargazing by Travis Scott, and King’s Dead by Jay Rock, Kendrick Lamar, and Future from the Black Panther movie soundtrack.
Financial terms of the deals were not disclosed.
Commenting on the acquisition, Influence Media Partner & Founding Advisor Rene McLean, told MBW: “Influence stays on course with its commitment to partnering with prolific creators from culture.”
“30 Roc and Eric Sloan afforded us the privilege and opportunity not only to protect their masterful works – in collab with genre defying artists like Travis Scott, Kanye West and Roddy Rich – but we are also looking into the future with new potential partnerships on the near horizon.”

“Dre Moon’s transcendent touch on works that include Drake, The Weeknd, Juice World, Future are undeniably important to our era. We at Influence could not pass up the opportunity to partner with him and a chapter of his catalog,” continued McLean.
Influence Media has been actively investing in the music publishing and content rights marketplace within the hip-hop genre.
The company’s notable acquisitions include the music catalog of Grammy-nominated rapper and producer Logic, encompassing 185 titles in an eight-figure deal, including the multi-platinum single 1-800-273-8255 ft. Alessia Cara and Khalid, EVERYDAY with Marshmello, HOMICIDE ft. Eminem, and SUCKER FOR PAIN with Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, Imagine Dragons, Logic & Ty Dolla $ign ft. X Ambassadors.
The US-based music and rights company — founded in 2019 and led by Lylette Pizarro, Lynn Hazan, Rene McLean, and Jon Jashni — also acquired a portion of the catalog of music producer, songwriter and 2023 Grammy Album of The Year winner, Tyler Johnson, in February. Johnson is a long-time collaborator of Harry Styles.
Other recent acquisitions include the catalogs of Grammy Award-winning rapper Future, country superstar Blake Shelton, songwriter Skyler Stonestreet, and Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Julia Michaels.
These strategic moves were made possible through a $750 million investment from BlackRock and Warner Music Group in 2022.
